Sally B's Cafe

I love Ms.Sally. She has the sweetest heart and soul and she deserves the world. The food was pretty good, fish wasn’t super flakey though. I would recommend the breakfast specials. Amazing service, Ms.Sally gave us a lot of attention and talked to us a lot, even with other people around us. Definitely would come here again if in the area.

My mom & I use to enjoy coming here on Sundays. We would get the special breakfast for 5. The last time I was unimpressed with how slow they were to even bother asking our order. Then when we FINALLY got our food it was barely warm. Didn't even bother trying to send it back because it took so long the 1st time. The bacon was pretty hard & the muffin was cold & didn't even seem fully baked. We came in just recently & it was pretty calm. We got our water right away & then no 1 even bothered to come back. We decided that it wasn't waiting longer than the 10 mins already. They were all pretty much just standing around. We walked out & didn't even bother when I told them. Theres a young guy there that is a pretty great server though. Seems to be the only 1 that seems to try. Fully disappointed

Sally B’s exemplifies the saying “don’t judge a book by its cover.” This diner’s major sign on the strip mall’s header only says, “Restaurant.” You won’t know it’s Sally B’s until you drive close enough to see the door. The restaurant is in the same shopping center as Safeway and the Family Dollar/Dollar Tree. Despite unassuming exteriors, expect friendly staff and great tasting comfort food. I discovered something interesting I liked: The restaurant decorates its tabletops with old Sears catalog pages dotted with local ads. Despite its unpretentious nature, the furniture looks well-maintained. The restaurant is proud of its 5-year Golden Plate Award from Yavapai County Community Health Services. Service was fine. Food was 30 bucks, and looked like maybe 3 dollars worth of ingredients from the grocery store. Cheap quality and, bland as hell. Maybe the old people like it for those reasons but for those of us with remaining taste buds, should probably avoid. Generic and stale atmosphere.

Was hesitant to go here since it was in a strip mall but the reviews were good so I gave it a whirl and I wasnt let down! Absolutely delicious food and great service. We will definitely be back!
