Customer Reviews
I had my mom‘s 69th birthday with friends. It took a while to get seated, but as I understand, it was one of the busiest nights they have ever had. Overall, the service was great. The food was excellent, and the hibachi chef's showmanship was genuine and beautiful. I would recommend this for birthdays and special events—a wonderful treat: a dinner-and-a-show worth every penny. And a large wraparound table to commune with and a chef in the middle, giving you a show.
Went with 4 friends, excellent food. Ordered the chicken and steak hibachi. We had a wonderful time, already planning our next visit. Family near us had a birthday, the staff brought her a piece of cake with a candle on top and sang Happy Birthday to her. Very entertaining and highly recommend going there.
If you’re looking for an incredible teppanyaki experience, Sakura in Prescott Valley is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The energy in the restaurant was lively, and our grill master absolutely stole the show — he was hilarious, engaging, and kept everyone laughing the entire time. The food was phenomenal! I ordered the steak and scallops, and both were cooked to absolute perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The kids had a blast, too, because the whole experience is very interactive. Between the chef’s tricks, the flying utensils, and the bursts of flame on the grill, there was never a dull moment at the table. One thing to note: it’s definitely on the louder side, so this isn’t the place for a quiet, intim
Absolutely would not recommend. So if you want good Japanese food and wonderful service go to Fujiyama in Prescott instead. Or go next door to Lindo Mexico for Mexican food. They are always so kind, the service is excellent and the food is always really good. We decided to try Sakura since they're newer and we love sushi and everything. We made a reservation for a group of six for my mother's birthday and arrived 10 minutes early so as to not be rude and to start the girl at the front desk was rude, shewed at us instead of using words like a professional human being and you could tell she didn't even want to bother looking for our reservation, but she's young and that's kind of the norm these days. They seated us in the hibachi area and crammed us into one hibachi table thing with two oth
What an amazing experience. Our hibachi chef was Joe and he gave us such a good time and it wasn’t just about the show but the food was SO GOOD. We will definitely be coming back for future celebrations and fantastic food. The atmosphere was beautiful and felt like a completely different world when you walk in from the parking lot.
