Sake Bon II

Typical Japanese restaurant own by Chinese. But food was good. We had Thai frid rice and tempura set and unagi rolls. It was good but hope they use little more fish sauce for thai fridge rice. Other than tha. Food was good. Fast and kind.

What a great treat! Stopped by here with the family a few weeks back and had a great dining experience. So we decided to pop in again, and they didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is welcoming, they have a hibachi grill "Ting Ting Flip" room for parties, a sushi bar, and a nice dining area. It's all a great use of space for a restaurant that isn't necessarily huge, but also does not feel cramped. There's mild background music playing, so you never feel awkward between chats. And the lighting is just right, without being too dim or annoyingly bright. I started with Crab Rangoons and a California Roll. The rangoons were crispy and delicious. Our favorite place to go to for sushi. Staff are so friendly and the food is delicious . They have great martinis too! Hibachi is super fun as well.

This is THE place in Rotterdam for sushi! I’ve gone to a few other restaurants for sushi in the area, but this by far takes title of the best. Service is always fast and top notch. For a regular dine in experience for 3, probably there for about 40 minutes. I have only ever done regular dining here, so I cannot comment on the hibachi. Ordered an appetizer and 3 sushi rolls for about $25 per person. Prices are going rate compared to other local places. Not competitively low, but much worth it. Overall recommend coming to this place for sushi. I’ve only ever ordered that here, but why both with anything else. Menu is easy to read and understand so no mistake on what exactly you’re getting. Very appropriate sizing for the prices.

Although I rated food service and atmospheres of five and my overall rating was a four I feel I need to explain. I just thought that the hibachi "show"was a little slow. But that being my only complaint I feel really blessed. And what really mattered was the fact that we were there celebrating my brother's birthday, and he was very pleased!
