I came in with my daughter for lunch, and we were seated immediately. It’s such a cute little place. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, which were great. Next, I ordered a black bean burger. She ordered shepherds pie. Both were really good. We had to box most of it because the portions were big. Last, we had the salted caramel cheesecake, which was great. The service was great, too. I wish I could remember her name.

The chef makes a wonderful and beautiful blackened redfish with lemon white wine sage butter, a side of unique and yummy smoked gouda grits, and a decent side of their collard greens. I wish to eat inside. 🐟🍋 🧈🧀 🌽 🥬 🥓

This place totally rocks. From the moment we walked in and to the time we walked out. We were immediately greeted and seated promptly. We browsed through the menu for awhile there were so many mouthwatering meals that it was very difficult to decide. Though a decision was made, there were actually a few made. We got fried pickles and fried green tomatoes both were rather delectable. They were also gluten-free. In fact, we were told all the fried/breaded apps were. For the main course, I had the bistro filet with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The other meal was homemade pasta with chicken. Both meals were great. The asparagus wasn't the best I've had, but it was still dang good. That's really the only "negative" I have about the food. Moving on to the restaurant itself. It is smalle

i recently visited the Rev Cafe at 180 S Jefferson St, in Monticello, FL. I decided to sit at the counter inside instead of the very nice outdoor seating. I was promptly greeted and my drink order was taken. I decided to get the chicken salad sandwich and it was very good. A nice place to relax, get a drink and eat.

The service was perfect, the drinks were OK, the food was well COLD.. sent our food back after waiting an hour.. smh, and atmosphere was perfect. Honestly, you can't blame the server for bad cooks. However, the cooks can make or break having returning guest.
