Sabor Latino 2 (Pompton Lakes)

I’ve been to Sabor Latino 2 at least 5 times since it’s opening and I can say that it has been consistently delicious every time! From the burritos, to the breakfast platters, and from dining in to takeout, this restaurant excels in providing a tasteful lens into Guatemalan cuisine no matter the circumstances. The pricing is very reasonable and worth every dollar. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. Living in Pompton Lakes all my life, I can safely say that this place is a hidden gem of the town!

Absolutely amazing! Everything is made with fresh, homemade ingredients and you can taste the difference in every bite. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Great atmosphere, great prices , can’t recommend this place enough!

First time visiting, and we came as a group of three for lunch. For appetizers, we ordered cheese pupusas—probably some of the best I’ve had. They were packed with cheese and came with a delicious sauce that paired perfectly. For our main courses, we tried the Fried Chicken, Bandeja Paisa, and a Burrito. Everything came out well-prepared and full of flavor. The portions were satisfying, and the presentation was inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, this is an excellent place worth coming back to. Highly recommended!

If I could eat Birria tacos for breakfast lunch and dinner from here every single day I would ! Sabor Latino is AMAZING!!! Not only is everything absolutely finger licking delicious… the service is incredible as well ! We order at least once a week and every single time it hits the spot ! Definitely highly recommend checking them out !

Excellent birria tacos; the best I’ve had, and I’ve tried a lot. Beef was extremely flavorful and juicy. Consume also very well flavored. I also tried Al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo tacos. They were all extremely juicy and flavorful, with crispy corn tortillas. The green sauce and spicy orange sauce were excellent. Beans and rice - fantastic. I will definitely be back. The flavors on display here beat out anything similar I’ve had in recent memory. I’m a food snob and I wholeheartedly approve 😅
