Just touched down from Chicago and needed a quick bite. This place came recommended by the locals. The service was quick and friendly. Ample of menu options. I selected the Turkey wings with sweet potatoes, greens, and cornbread with a slice of lemon cake for dessert. I can say the portions are great comparable to the pricing. The preparation was fast. The taste.... everything could use more seasonings. The turkey wings were more fatty than meaty and need more seasonings to that gravy. The greens could use more meat flavor and some Cajun seasonings. The cake slice was iced to perfection but super dry; was old or over mixed? Overall wasn't a bad visit. I will consider visiting again to try the seafood.

The food is always fresh and consistent. If you love fried fish, they season it just right, the side are good too. It's my go-to spot in when I'm in the area. Dhall of DC/DMV

I ordered the 2 piece catfish dinner with rice and gravy and string beans. It was very delicious. The fish was well seasoned, crispy, fresh, and made to order. The gravy turned that plain rice into a southern delight! Nothing too special about the green beans, but they had a nice flavor and complimented the fish. I was greeted warmly with a genuine smile. My only criticism is that they should serve the cornbread warm instead of cold. I paid $17 dollars and it was worth it. I'll be back as a customer. Update: I went back to try this place for a second time, and the gravy wasn't consistent with the rice. It had a slightly watery taste.

S&S is definitely one of my go-to's for a quick carry out meal to feed the family. The menu is simple, well priced and the wait typically isn't very long. My personal faves are the turkey wings and the friend whiting. We'll done guys

I just ordered the turkey wings, greens and cabbage. With a side of rice and gravy. OMG THE wings are super salty and tough to chew, they taste old. Why are they putting so much salt on those wings. This was a waste of 18 dollars
