Customer Reviews
An absolute 10/10 experience! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the customer service was truly top-tier. The food was incredibly delicious and arrived quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were attentive, professional, and clearly well-trained, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The owner himself was an absolute gentleman—kind, welcoming, and clearly passionate about his restaurant. I absolutely loved the ambience, and I can’t recommend this place enough. A solid 10/10—definitely worth a visit!
My wife and I had lunch at Rudraks yesterday. Wonderful addition to the area. Pleasant space. Great service. Delicious Indian food. Pappadums with three chutneys, along with naan bread, aromatic rice, “today’s daal”, desert — all included with the lunch special -- $15. My wife had saag paneer which she enjoyed. I had the chicken chettinad, which was excellent. When ordering, we were asked about levels of heat. 7 out of 10 for me, which was just fine. Mixed very well with the other spices. I’ve had this dish elsewhere, but Rudraks version was particularly flavorful. I would absolutely order it again. Very satisfying. 10 out of 10 experience. We certainly recommend this place, and look forward to our next meal when we are in the UWS. Dinner? Yes, please. Oh, yes, there's a note on the menu
Have been on the hunt for good Indian food for a while and stumbled upon this place. Absolutely delicious!!! So many options for veggie and meat. Would absolutely come back again and recommend to anyone!
Great spot, both for takeout and dining. The interior is nothing special but a cozy spot to enjoy a generous portion of well layered and seasoned tikka with a great portion of naan which was very fresh, thin and not too doughy
We did a dinner walk-in on a Thu evening and were seated right away around 7:30 pm with a cozy window seating. The place was relatively warm, dim lit, and bollywood music playing at a soft volume. Rajesh took our order which included Pani Puri ($10) which I'd highly recommend, Lasuni Ghobi ($12) which was very tomato sauce forward and not that great, and Achari Paneer Tikka ($14) which was masaledaar and the Paneer was very fresh - I guess they make their own paneer! For mains, the Malai Kofta ($18) couldn't hit the spot (but tasted really tasty as a leftover dish), and the Goan Salmon Curry ($25) tasted good the day of and as a leftover! For dessert, Kheer was very tasty - perfect amount of sweetness and tasted really fresh. Overall, we had a very positive experience with noise levels
