Rozanna Mediterranean Restaurant

Ate some of the best Mediterranean food in STL here. The beef kafta moussaka was unbelievably delicious, I would come back for this dish alone. We also tried the muhammara dip which was a very unique and delicious blend of flavors. Overall, the food and experience was superb. The only complaint was that the pita that was brought with the appetizer was cold and hard. We all felt that pita should be served warm so we had our server heat it up for us which he was very gracious about doing for us.

Apparently the place changed hands back in 2020 and I hadn't been in since. Fixed that with lunch after a haircut on the other side of the shopping plaza. Starters are new and I really liked the three small dishes they presented. Puréed beets on one end and mashed potato in the middle. Unfortunately, I didn't catch what's on the other end but ate (and enjoyed) it anyway. Sandwich on this visit was beef shawarma. It showed up hot enough to burn my tongue a little bit. Not a complaint, more of an endorsement. Beef had a great flavor and was cooked enough without being overdone. Nice pickled vege continued outside the sandwich, light but garlicky sauce. This is hands down the best Mediterranean spot I’ve found since moving to Missouri. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The falafel was perfectly made—not over-spiced—and the complimentary dips with pita chips were a great start. The lamb shank was the star of the meal: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A special thanks to Nikitha, who suggested a couple of dishes for us to try. Her recommendations were spot-on, and we loved everything she pointed us toward. She was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. The environment was very welcoming, making it a place I’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mediterranean food in Missouri!

We celebrated my younger brother's wedding at this incredible Middle Eastern restaurant today and it was absolutely perfect! The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and full of life -- the perfect setting for such a special occasion. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their hospitality truly made us feel like family. The food was outstanding -- every dish was rich with authentic flavor, from the perfectly seasoned kebabs to the fresh hummus and fluffy pita. Amazing 🤩 great food, coolest atmosphere. They have belly dancers come on Friday night! Turkish coffee and Kebabs are a must. Great for dates and outdoor parties. 🎉
