We visited on a Saturday evening with another couple. We were seated on a very small room with a very low ceiling directly off the bar. The noise was indescribable. My Apple Watch noise alert for hearing kept going off and you could not have a conversation without yelling across the table. There were so many tables crammed into this small space that the service staff could not maneuver and function well. The food was good and the service was good. You know these people care and are attentive yet whomever designed this space needs to understand it was a BIG MISS. While aesthetically pleasing, it’s not very functional. The only service miss was the table help asked if we want boxes. We said yes. He took several other small plates and plopped them right on the plate with my entree. Mixed in
I went to Bartolino’s Twin Oaks today for lunch—more like a late brunch—with my daughter. I had the Risotto with Italian sausage, onion, saffron, a touch of cream, and a fried egg on top. She had the Rigatoni Bolognese, made with beef, pork, tomato sauce, and a touch of cream. Both dishes were freshly prepared with the finest ingredients. What a meal. The portions were generous—too good to finish in one sitting, so I made sure to save some for later. The place looks beautiful, polished but warm, just the way an Italian restaurant should be. The service? Right on the money. I asked for two boxes, but instead of just dropping them off, our server took the dishes, boxed them perfectly, and bagged them for us. That’s service done with care, the kind that makes you feel like family. The Sara
Great experience! Very cool vibe and beautiful decor inside. The space is about 1 year old. One of few restaurants these days that is adequately staffed and it showed. Very attentive service even on a busy Friday night. Food was excellent the calamari, salads, chicken modiga chicken risotto. All really good. Strong drinks as well! Draft beer selection ok but did have Voodoo Ranger as a craft selection.
The ambience is fresh, elegant, and inviting — from the moment we walked in, we felt this restaurant was special. Our server Charles, who clearly has tremendous experience in fine dining, was 100/10 professional. He answered all of my unusual menu questions with ease and made us feel completely taken care of. The food and drinks were absolutely top-notch. The risotto was unforgettable, and my angel hair pasta with fish was outstanding. My partner was impressed by the whiskey selection for his Old Fashioned, which was beautifully presented. Even the branding caught our attention — the logo is clever and memorable. Overall, an exceptional dining experience — we’ll definitely be back!
I ordered orange juice and the classic breakfast. The orange juice tastes like freshly squeezed, very delicious. The classic breakfast comes with two eggs, I ordered scrambled, hash browns, three strips of bacon, I asked for extra crispy, and two slices of toast. The eggs were cooked just right. Many parts on the bacon were burnt. I didn’t want it that crispy. The hash brown looked like a small brick. The hash brown was crispy but needs seasoning. I asked for the multigrain bread for my toast and it came out perfect. I got excellent service sitting at the bar. I like the look and vibe of this restaurant. There’s a large parking lot in front of the restaurant.
