Rowlett Cafe

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I was not disappointed. As a known supporter of biscuits and gravy, I feel it is my duty; nay… my “HONOR” to recognize this diner for finally doing Rowlett right for breakfast options. May your attentive and respectful staff be blessed in all ways. My meal was delicious, well prepared and served with the best server attitude of welcoming and attentiveness. Table 13 was my lucky number.

This was my first time visiting Rowlett Cafe and I can honestly say it was a great experience. The food hit the spot, especially with the portion sizes. I ordered the 2 meats and 2 sides deal for just $9, and it even came with pancakes—now that’s a plate worth bragging about. When we first arrived, it took a little while for someone to get to us, but I quickly realized why. The place was absolutely packed! A friend who goes often mentioned that mornings around 7am are usually less busy, so being there at 10:30am explained the crowd. Once our server got to us, though, things turned around quickly—our food was on the table within 12 minutes. Every bite was satisfying, the atmosphere was lively, and despite the wait at the start, I walked away with a smile. Rowlett Cafe is one of those gems

This place feels muggy and old, run down. Place needs some TLC. We didn't have a designated server. So if you need something you're gonna be waiting for a good bit. The booth seats were way to far from the table as if they were designed for fat people. The menu is very simple and not extensive, not many options.

Our first visit here. We were seated promptly and the staff were very friendly. I tried the biscuit and sausage gravy breakfast plate and my wife did the build your own plate (scrambled eggs, potatoes, grits and bacon). The food quality was great! Real eggs! Everything came out hot. Staff checked on us regularly, never had to wait for a refill. We are excited to try their lunch menu soon.

Excellent service and prices. The portions are very big and they have many options to choose from. The food was very delicious and served hot. The staff are all very kind and helpful and provide excellent service. I ordered the super mega plate which will be my breakfast and lunch. All was very delicious and i hope to return again.
