This was our first time trying Rumdoul and I can say the food was absolutely delicious. From the dumplings to the shrimp and chicken fried rice everything was made fresh and hot. The portion size was also perfect for the family. This has to be the best food we've had in a long time. The service was top notch as well and the owners are wonderful people. You have to try this place out if you are in the Rowlett area.
Delicious! They have a good selection of curry; I’ve tried all of them. This spot is always consistent in flavor and provides excellent customer service. Highly recommend the Tom Yum soup when you are feeling under the weather! Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and green curry are also my recommendations. Everything on the menu has authentic Asian flavor and this spot hits all the checkboxes!
Wow. That’s about all I can say. Well actually I can say that everything tasted fresh, subtle and layered flavors. Nothing was really overpowering and or masking sub par ingredients. It’s top notch. I noticed even a sear on the drunken noodles chicken. Glad to have found this place.
Not bad. Service was good. Prices are reasonable. Casual seating. Can’t say I encountered anything remarkable, but nothing was terrible and it’s convenient. I’d come back and try some other stuff. Spring rolls don’t have any vermicelli noodles, but the peanut sauce is real good. Dumplings are fried. Crab ragoons are light and crispy with good filling. Soup was alright, stick with a 2 or lower spice level (out of 5). Tried the pad thai takeout and it’s alright. Needed more sauce or something. Comes with a good amount of tofu, but the tofu didn’t absorb the flavor so it was pretty bland. Wouldn’t order again.
Rumdoul is a hidden gem that’s truly worth discovering. It’s a small business, but the flavors are huge authentic, homemade, and absolutely delicious. I tried the noodles and the cashew rice, and they were truly amazing… some of the best I’ve ever had. Their tea is also outstanding: delicious, authentic Thai tea with a natural, organic taste you can feel from the very first sip. Such a unique experience. The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for enjoying your meal. The service is warm and attentive; they explain each dish in detail and you can tell they do it with passion and care. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The prices are fair, and every bite is worth it. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back. 🌸🍜✨
