Rose Garden Chinese Restaurant

First off the service is fantastic. Secondly the food is on point. There is no buffet, but the food is so worth it any way! I always get the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Sometimes I will get the Vegetarian Fried Rice without onions(I am allergic). This is the only Chinese restaurant I have been to in Florida that has been able to fulfill my non onion request! The portions of the chicken are just right for me, not too much and not too small. I am very particular about eating chicken in general and this chicken is the best I have had anywhere, other than at my house. I have been coming to this establishment off and on for about 5 years and I have never once been disappointed. Laura has always been professional and kind. Trust me, try the food. You won't be disappointed.

New to Alachua, I tried the Rose Garden. That was a year ago. I became a regular because the food, Laura, and service are EXCELLENT!

It is a nice place to stop while traveling, and you can dine in or take out. The lady serving was very kind and even brought us fortune cookies before we left. The food is definitely fairly priced at around 11-12 dollars per meal while maintaining a great quality. I recommend stopping by here if you are looking for a casual and cozy restaurant to get some delicious food. 😋

The chicken wings are excellent! I don't know what they marinate them in but they have a great flavor. Their wonton soup also was excellent. We had a teriyaki chicken dinner and the chicken was great. The fried rice was a bit bland, but still good. Chicken chow mein was just like what I would get in NY. The onions and cabbage were soft and the chicken was what it should be in chow mein. Added some soy sauce to give it just a bit more flavor. Overall 5/5!!
