Stopped in for dinner tonight and everything was delicious! The creamy udon was amazing, and my husband had the Blonde Dragon roll and loved it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the chefs really know what they’re doing. The atmosphere is cute and inviting, which made it such a great place to enjoy dinner. We’ll definitely be back!
Excellent sushi! So excited to have a great sushi place in Alachua. The spicy tuna was great. I loved that they used sliced tuna and not minced. There was a roll with pork belly that was excellent too. My only feedback was going to be that we didn’t see much on the menu other than sushi and I would like to see more options for soup, appetizers, etc, but when I looked at other reviews just now I saw that other people had teriyaki bowls, gyozas, etc. Not sure if they are trying out different items at different times or maybe these other options are only on the lighted menu board off to the side of the restaurant? We assumed all of the options were on the menus handed to us and I thought the board was a reference for takeout orders. If I had known there were more options I would have tried
We had an awesome experience here. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. You can tell they really care about the quality of both the food and the service. This is a fantastic addition to downtown Alachua. The area hasn’t really had a great sushi option, and this place definitely fills that gap. We’ll absolutely be back and are excited to have such a solid sushi spot in town now.
Very friendly staff. Helpful. But… 50$ in for 2 rolls and hibachi. The hibachi/teriyaki bowl doesn’t come with rice and was minimal on amount of food(I didn’t read fine print/description) pretty upset about not having rice because was in picture. The blonde dragon. (See pic) The 19$ specialty roll does not look anything like the pics, more rice than anything else in shrimp roll. Not worth the price. Manager Dan refunded order and made sure to correct it with staff. He said it is usually not like this.
Food was excellent, service was too , tables are little small but ok for two ,all around good place to eat ,
