Rose Café and Bagel

Stopped by this coffee shop today and was really impressed! The place is cozy and welcoming. There’s a single lady running everything — making coffee, taking orders, and still keeping a smile on her face. She’s working hard and doing an amazing job. The bagel breakfast options are delicious — fresh, warm, and perfectly paired with the coffee. Definitely worth supporting this small business!

First time I came here food was great and the service was amazing. The second time felt very weird when I asked for the item I got the first time which was just a warmed bagel with cream cheese and BLT fixings. Was told I had to order a specific bagel then request all items that came on it removed and then order what I wanted which was just weird to me. Then today I came in and ordered what I was told to last time and a coffee the bagel was yummy but the coffee(which I have never ordered before) tasted just milk and a shot (not a mocha like I had ordered) also had some kind of oil on the top of the drink(weird). Overall good food, not great coffee(from my experience) weird customer service though. Wanted to give benefit of doubt but will not be returning.

I haven't been here in over a year and was shocked by all the bad reviews until I recently stopped by again... I gotta say, the bagel on its own is fantastic! Soft, but firm, sour, and yeast-like, as bread should be, and that's where the good ends. I bought two jalapeño bagels with cream cheese, and the amount of cream cheese was pathetic. You'd think they were going out of business. The decor is initially appealing until you look around and notice the additional candies and popsicle stickers on the window. You start to feel like you're in a liquor store and not a high-end cafe. My advice: buy the bagels fresh (no cream cheese), take them home, and prepare them there.

So I went in on my lunch and ordered a pizza. No one was inside but the lady behind the counter. I ordered my pepperoni pizza and grab a seat and waited. I got a large because it was only 1 size. Mind you the sign says wait time is possibly 30 min for the pizza. I begin to sit there for 45 mins and finally get my pizza. I was already livid off of the wait time. To my dismay the large is really a small. And than to top it all off, there was barely any cheese just sauce and a couple of pepperonis. The worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Do not go there at all. Complete garbage. Would not recommend to a death row inmate

I quite honestly do not know how this place stays in business. I was warned not to come here a few years ago but recently decided to give it a try. I should have listened. This was the worse coffee shop/ restaurant experience I have had in a very long time. The bagel was extremely average and not impressing, and the coffee was even worse. My wife and I each got an iced americano and from the moment I saw it I knew it would be terrible. It was so incredibly watered down and maybe had 1 shot in it. Few sips and it went in the trash. I should have listened to my intuition when on a Saturday morning there were only about 3 customers in the shop. This place has so much potential. It’s crazy that someone can have a business and put such little effort into it.
