Rosati’s Pizza

Finally after a few months, our family pulled the plug on trying Rosati's. We normally make our own pizza dough and pizza with a Blackstone pizza cooker and it's been hard to justify paying for pizza around Surprise. We were craving the deep dish style pizza and we were not disappointed! $46 for a 16" Deep Dish (Mushrooms, Onions, Italian Sausage), one kids Pizza, and Strombolini spinach and cheese appetizer. I could only eat one slice! It was absolutely delicious. The sauce was fresh and slightly sweet without being overpowering to the entire pizza. The cheese was the perfect ratio to sauce and did not cause the pizza to be soggy at all! The crust was delectable--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I placed order for pizza & provided that I had 12 coupons from the previous Rosatis orders to apply 50% off pizza order however this location stated they no longer accept those coupons & pizza boxes have changed no longer providing the save 12 box coupons for 50% off. The cashier wouldn't accept these coupons upon arriving to pick up order & was a bit irritated after placing the order because I had these coupons. I find it irritating the new boxes state " nothing has changed since 1961". I had to pay full price $38 for XL pizza & 2LT of root beer & wouldn't have placed order if I had known they wouldn't accept coupons!

The quality of the food is excellent…nothing like your typical pizza chain. The taste is great, and reminds you of when everything wasn’t processed and ingredients were fresh. Rosati’s falls into the category of “Happy Food”

We ordered 3 pizzas. Canadian bacon & pineapple, sausage and pepperoni. All three were delicious. Sausage is better (Chgo) flavor a little sweet better than any other local pizzeria. Everyone loved the Hawaiian too. Plenty of cheese and cut clear thorough, great for serving!! Dillon our order taker was great and thankfully explained the sizes.

Honestly this pizza is not that great I was a little disappointed in the overall taste. The cheese was thick and chewy and the topping were buried under a thick layer of cheese, the sauce had no flavor and the crust wasn’t very good at all. I may try something else from this place but I won’t be ordering pizza from here again.
