The smoked salmon toast was so good! Very worth the price for how much food there was! Also got the chocolate almond smoothie. It was really good but wish there was more for the price. For a meal and drink, I spent between $20-30. Service was fairly quick and staff were friendly. UPDATE: returned two more times, and this had got to be my favorite spot for brunch! Pancakes are the best– so soft and delicious you just have to try it for yourself! The omelet was fluffy, and if you like goat cheese, you'll love the mushroom/goat cheese omelet. Steak and egg had good flavor but was on the smaller side.
I recommend trying their specialty lattes. So far I’ve only had the cookies n cream & it was so good ! You must order the chocolate expresso banana bread . 10/10 tasty treat & creation it’s truly unique w/ that side of mascarpone to top it off. So far I’ve only ordered take out. Eventually I’ll dine in & re update this review in the future.
Roost is fabulous! Delicious food, with many healthy breakfast and lunch choices on the menu. The employees are amazing and the service is fast. They also serve great coffee!
This place could be REALLY good. I’d really recommend getting the food temperature under control. That is an easy win that would bump the food from a 3 to a 4 on its own. When eating in, there is no reason the food shouldn’t be hot. Needs to be a strong warmer in the window, potatoes need to be held hotter, burrito needs to be grilled thoroughly in a press. The queso is also SO cold and when on top of the chilaquiles, makes them cold because they weren’t piping hot to begin with. Burrito also needs more going on as it’s pretty one-note currently. Smashed avocado, refried beans, or more queso for creaminess throughout is a must. Serve it HOT and grilled with a side of homemade hot salsa. More salt as well on the potatoes and eggs. The chorizo can’t do all the work itself. That would take it
Satisfying breakfast for two! We popped in on a Sunday around 8 AM and there was no wait. Ordered at the counter from the regular menu—a breakfast bowl and a breakfast muffin, matcha latte and a coffee. Bowl was very good, eggs perfectly poached over kale, sweet potato, quinoa and Brussels sprouts hash—I asked for a little chili crunch on top which was super good too. The egg sandwich with bacon and arugula topped with bearnaise on a handmade English Muffin exceeded expectations. Okay, it’s only an egg sandwich…but the muffin was next level and the egg cooked just runny, respect to the kitchen staff here! Fresh ingredients, made with care comparable to any farm-to-table dining but served quickly and casually. Contrary to other reviewers’ experience our plates were served nice and hot and t
