This is a historic 1880s home that is beautiful on the outside and the inside. 3-minute walk to restaurants and a 5-6 minute walk to campus. Free street parking right in front. Cat Henry is an incredibly gracious and accommodating host. Breakfast was wonderful, and various dietary preferences are accommodated. There are 3 bedrooms available to guests, each individually decorated. The bathroom has a historic claw-foot tub. Internet was fast and reliable. The landing has a nice beverage nook with free Keurig coffees, teas, bottled water, fridge, and microwave. There is tons of natural light everywhere, making for a very positive ambience.

Without a doubt the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. Cath make you literally feel at home and we will be sorry to leave when we finally do. We have been treated like family!||We arrived with our 5month old baby at very short notice and Cath couldnt have been more helpful, providing a cot and a super warm welcome. ||The house is beautifully kept and has plenty of character. The area is safe and chilled, but right next to the high street with shops and restaurants etc. ||We’d love to come visit again and couldn’t recommend this place more than enough. :)||P.S. Amazing free cookies in the jar outside our room.

Rooms2stay is an incredible bed and breakfast. This beautiful older home with 3 guest rooms is an incredible find. Cat, the hostess goes above and beyond to anticipate and accommodate every need. We were in the area to be with my mother in law for her final days. Cat was gracious enough to allow us an open ended stay. The first night, we got into town late coming from Des Moines, Cat picked up our order at a local restaurant, and kept it warm until we arrived, even serving it on lovely dishes so we didn't have to eat from a carry out box.

The perfect escape!||Rooms are bright and cheerful with delightful touches everywhere you look. ||Cat's gracious accommodation is unmatched. ||She has created a refuge that radiates her natural warmth and charm. ||This is a place to reclaim a sense of peace, gratitude, joy; to recharge. ||You will want to stay forever and immediately make plans to return regularly!
