El Patron Mexican Food

Hard pass for us. First visit was ok. Today not so much. Chimichanga was not fried (more a burrito than a Chimichanga). The pork was crispy and dry in my burrito. Way over cooked! Waitress took order brought out food and wasn’t seen at all … had to mock reorder food to get ticket paid. No hospitality feel anywhere in this establishment.

Small local place; there is not everything you could possibly desire there, as there would be in other stores, but it is a nice little store. Definitely the basics and some rare items. Plus, My favorite part, the cashiers are incredibly friendly, and the baggers know exactly how to bag! I can't tell you how many times I have been incredibly disappointed in chain stores not teaching anyone how to bag things properly. I was highly impressed with the young lady being able to put everything exactly where it should go and not crush anything.

We have always had great food and great service at a good price. It is our 'go to' at least a few times a week. When we order for take out it is always ready within 10 minutes. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a great Mexican restaurant to eat at.

Had the Best Fajita Chicken Taco Salad today and it was soooo good!! Loved the chips n salsa too!! Ramon was our server and very attentive. With the Maple Leaf festival going on, the staff was very well organized… can’t wait to go back

We had been to Baldwin city before and had looked around.we saw this restaurant and saw the reviews. It's a 20 minute drive from our house in Lawrence. Yesterday we took that drive just for dinner As we walked in the door we saw the sighn posting of 32 oz lime margarita for under $5 All day. I personally not a big fan of lime. But my wife agreed to try after our server said she liked it. We allways share our margaritas together. As I said not a fan. But this lime margarita was delicious And now is a favorite of mine. As for our meals we had I am a big enchilada fan and haven't found any restaurants in Lawrence. I had the trio enchiladas and its by far the best I ever tasted. My wife loved her meal to.
