Romi Thai

We have eaten three times since they opened on December 3rd. Each time I forgot to take any pictures of the food. This time I was able to get some pictures of what we had to eat Romi Thai is family-owned family, run and the chef is the mother who has been doing this for 20 years. So far we have a lot of favorites but we are narrowing them down. They have lunch specials Tuesday through Friday. With a variety of options. Entrees from Satay chicken, Pad Thai chicken, cashew chicken and Drunken Noodles. We have tried them all with more meals to go. Fast food, made fresh, friendly staff and plenty of experience coming out of the kitchen by Mom. They will work with you to make your meal the way you want it. A salad with ginger dressing. This is a new restaurant in Pahrump that has been open about a month at the time of this review. The owners, originally from Chicago, have endeavored to provide a comfortable dining environment with fresh ingredients, generous portions and reasonable prices. They have an extensive selection of bubble teas as well! I've had curry dishes at countless restaurants over the years and I can say without question this was one of the best I've ever had.

Everything we ordered was delicious and came out pretty fast after we placed each item! All of the staff were extremely nice! We will definitely be going back! We ordered the fresh spring rolls and chicken stay for appetizers, for the main dishes we ordered panang curry, red curry and the sesame chicken! We would reorder all of those but definitely want to try everything else on the menu too!

We split an order of the spring rolls and an order of pineapple fried rice. The spring rolls were large and delicious. They are served with a peanut sauce that was very tasty. The fried rice was great. I’m glad we split it because it would have been too much for me alone. Service was speedy and competent. The atmosphere is a little funky, but very pleasant. We sat in a booth and I felt a little like I needed a booster seat. It was a very pleasant experience, and if I lived in Pahrump I’d be a regular at the place. Note that if you pay with a credit card there is a 3% surcharge.
