Thrifty Ice Cream To Go

This Owner/Operator has a great selection of hard ice cream. All fresh and waiting to be served up in; Waffle, Wafer, Bowls and/or Cones. He has a small but adequate seating area. Can't remember exactly but I believe he had 16 flavors. Strawberry Cheese Cake, Cotton Candy, Cocanut Cream are just a few of the exotics. I could only wish his shop was more conveniently located. I grew up eating thrift brand ice cream so every time we stop here, it’s always a taste of nostalgia. This location happens to be the closest to the main area of Pahrump, it’s right on the main drag, so I find it very convenient especially with always working late hours. The buildings on the frontage road are old and cute, think Main Street in a small town. It’s painted pink and fits the ice cream vibe!🍦 The inside is bright and clean, and my favorite flavors of ice cream are always available. The quality is exceptional and their prices are about the same or lower than the others.

Lots of yummy flavors to choose from, so many it's almost hard to decide. Quick, but patient and courteous. Well worth the prices and you have the option of dining in a clean and vibrant atmosphere .

We have passed this shop many times and finally decided to stop in. We had a cup of butter pecan and banana nut, and a cone of chocolate mocha flavor. The ice cream was not creamy at all, possibly more like ice milk. My cup of butter nut and butter pecan was completely tasteless, I couldn't tell the difference in the two, and could not detect any flavor. My wife's mocha cone was also tasteless, no flavor of either coffee or chocolate. All three dips were apparently ice milk. Neither of us have ever had this experience before, anywhere.
