Romans Pizzeria

The kids wanted pizza before an event in Ligonier. This vegan went there expecting another boring salad. Wowwwww did I get a surprise. There was a vegan pizza on the menu. Still, I had low expectations because it is really hard to find a good vegan cheese. Well, I am here to tell you…don’t walk, run to Roman’s pizza! The vegan pizza far exceeded my expectations. The kids loved their mammoth pizza which was HUGE!! The staff was so kind and friendly. What a dinner win!!

I ordered 2 pizzas recently and had my mother in law pick them up for me. It was ready on time but the pizzas were overcooked and did not taste like the usual Roman’s! One was gluten free as my wife has celiacs so it’s already expensive as it is and they are one of the few places that offer gluten free. Sad to say I will not be ordering from there for quite awhile

l-O-V-E! On the surface, it looks like just another pizzeria but it is not! The pizza is high quality, with crisp crust and delicious toppings, the service is superb, and dogs are welcome! We had single slices so we can try different items, and it was all delicious. Grab a glass of wine, a cocktail or a can of cider from the adjunct winery and take the time to relax and enjoy!

Cheese pizza was a 3.5 for a thin crust, quality/consistency of cheese, and sauce.- I could only give 4. Good crunch but not memorable. Maybe if it had been hot? (Took it to go and it was ice cold within 5 minutes). Other versions might be better. Service was fine. One person was very attentive. The eating area wasn't very clean or welcoming. No napkins, utensils, or even menus available. The atmosphere overall was sterile-except the awesome idea of the vintage arcade games! The biggest issue was hair!! The girls working had their hair down (all long) and one girl's hung into our pizza as she was cutting it. We decided we would try again though some sometime. Maybe things will improve?

Our first time here. We ordered a large with Xtra cheese, pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms and a medium BBQ bacon chicken. The pizza was phenomenal!!! I ABSOLUTELY Love the BBQ bacon chicken. We dined in. Nice clean restaurant with an outside eating area also. Bathroom clean. Staff were friendly. We believe the owner even came over and checked on us. We will definitely make the trip from Latrobe to eat here again! Highly recommend!
