Colonial House on Main Bed & Breakfast Ligonier

Fantastic location but cleanliness was a major issue during our three night stay in late October 2025. Left a review on Expedia about our stay at the Colonial House on Main and was met with a retaliatory text message from the owner and passive aggressive response on Expedia reviews — which is why I am also posting here on Google. Hoping they perform a deep clean before they continue admitting guests and serving food especially since we discovered mouse droppings at the house upon check-out. What a delightful stay! Dawn was so warm and welcoming. We were in the first floor suite with separate living room. We had a small refrigerator and our dog was welcome. Beautiful antique furniture. Dawn brought breakfast in the morning to our room. Fruit, incredible quiche, muffin , croissant and OJ. All in a lovely basket. Very convenient to walking to the shoppes in town. What a great day.

My family has enjoyed overnight stays at Colonial House on Main B&B for years. There is so much to be grateful for when you visit! Of course the location is ideal. Walking distance to most everything in town center, including the bandstand and Fort Ligonier. From the moment you step foot on the cozy front porch, it feels like home. It only gets better as you enter. Warm, charming, & magical! This is not a cold hotel with zero personality. My daughter and I love looking at the perfectly curated decor! When all tucked in, it feels like a big hug. Like Grandma's house! There is literally everything you need here. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean. But the heart of the bed & breakfast, your host, is truly one of the most kind and accommodating souls you will ever meet. I cannot

Super cute, clean and friendly. Its an old house with lots of quirks and charm!! Its well decorated with a SUPER comfy bed...like I want to take it home!! Walkable to the whole downtown vibe, good parking and surprisingly quite. The owner was very available and quick to respond when we booked and arrived. Thanks for having us we will be back!

I stayed one night at the colonial at the end of a snow storm. The owner was very accommodating. The porch and sidewalk were cleaned from the snow. She offered directions to my destinations. She gave recommendations for dinner. The room I was clean and welcoming. Thank you!
