Roman Cafe

First time coming. My wife and i have been wanting to come because reviews were good. Had high hopes for here. First had French onion soup....soup was very dark...it was ok...have had better. Then i ate the baked ziti and it was just ok. My wife had meatballs and ravioli. The meatballs were rubbery. In all nothing was great. Should have gone to chefs or payne's down the street.

We just had dinner and everything was sooooooo good. Adam was our server and he was awesome!!!!!!! Very friendly and very efficient. Thanks for the great food and service!!!!

My 85-year old mother went to lunch there Saturday, Dec. 27 and ordered the tripe like she normally does. She said it was "mushy and tasted old" and didn't finish eating the rest of it. Thank goodness because who knows what was wrong with it as she threw up all night long and felt horrible. Fortunately, she feels a bit better today, but honestly, what is wrong with you to prepare obviously bad or spoiled tripe? She'll never touch tripe again after last night and that was her favorite dish ever. If she gets worse and has to go to the hospital, I'll be contacting your owner directly.

Our service was hands down a great experience. Amanda H was our server. She is the best! Haven't had Roman in awhile figured we stop in and have a family meal. The food was top notch 👌. We will absolutely be back. I grabbed a menu on the way out so now we know all the amazing food we will have to try for our next visit! Thank you again Amanda H!!

I don't review things but I do have an issue when a business takes advantage of customers. Ordered delivery. With tax and tip in mind, a $10 side was substituted for a bag of Lays chips. No communication before to explain and NO communication or explanation after when we tried to ask. $10 is not much but could make or break an evening for a traveler on a budget. With no communication, it seemed to malicious to save money for the Cafe. Misleading at best, theft by fraud at the worst. Mistakes happen, but to refuse to communicate after, is not acceptable. Everything else was pretty good. A bit overpriced for the quality but food prices have risen so not their fault. If the company contacts me to explain, I am happy to remove or alter this review.
