Roma Italian Restaurant, Catering & Events

Romas is a great place to go by yourself, friends or even a date. Their food is amazing and their customer service is just as good! The staff are friendly and on point when tending to you and others dining in. The food comes out relatively fast for a dine in restaurant and I’ve never had a bad meal come out of their kitchen. This specific Roma is also good for events whether it is catering or even dining in with larger groups. The interior of the restaurant is very nice ands it’s always a pleasure to give my business!

Overall a good place to eat. Prices: Comparable to other similar establishments in the area. Food: A bit of a “hit or miss”. Rolls- My partner and I both thought the rolls (unpictured because we devoured immediately) were the best bread item we’ve ever had. Garlic Bread- (half pictured) good, but rolls were still supreme. Salads- both the Italian and Caesar were fresh and tasty. Tour of Italy- Chicken Parm: just ok, Manicotti: just ok, Spaghetti: I prefer al dente, so wasn’t a fan. My partner thought it was good. Lasagna: Hit! This was delicious! Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo: Neither of us liked this. Very bland. Took it home and added more cheese and spices. Service: No issue, promt, professional and kind. Cleanliness: No issues, everything we came in contact with and saw seemed clean.

Beyond pathetic for “garlic cheese bread” $8. It’s sub rolls cut in half barely toasted with a slice of cheese on it. Definitely not picking here to eat again for our family pizza nights.

We held an event at Roma Italian Restaurant in one of their private rooms. The 48 guests raved about the food. We had a pre-set plated menu consisting of Lasagna, Salmon, and Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. Everyone loved their dinner, the atmosphere, and the service. The restaurant was so accommodating to every request. You won't believe how easy they are to work with--especially the manager, Philip Mannino. Dinner consisted of appetizers, salad, a choice of entrees, and yummy bread. We brought our own cake for dessert, which they happily served. We had plenty of time to decorate--again they were so accommodating and very reasonably priced.

We had a family gathering with a buffet style meal. Such a HUGE disappointment! Olive Garden could do better! We had option of ziti with marinara sauce or meat sauce. Um... what MEAT sauce??? No meat in either sauce! And bland! We had chicken beaten down to a pulp and dried up or salmon as an option. Passed on both. Steamed mixed vegetables were ok. Vegetables and dip - ok. Service? The girls were very unorganized. As guests, glad we were not paying the bill because i would have said something. There are so many better options in Richmond if you want Italian food. Don't waste your time here.
