Red Rooster Country Store

This store has the best country ham in the state! A lot home made preserves and pickled vegetables can be found here. Also, they have a small inside dining area. During this pandemic, they are mindful cleanliness and social distance. This is a real treasure in Hanover County. This is a place we will be visiting often.

Great little place. Good food and country charm. Love the Sally Bell's and the incredible local bread.

I have loved visiting the Red Rooster! The environment is welcoming, workers are friendly, and they serve great food! Recently I tried the banana bread mix, and it has become very popular with my friends in college. I’ll be returning to this store on my breaks to restock on items to serve my friends.

My wife and I were out and I asked her to look up small restaurants and saw this one, decided to go and it was great, WILL RECOMMENDED YOU TO VISIT THEM.
