This place is a true hidden gem! As soon as I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere. I decided to start with the Miso Soup and the Lion King, and both dishes exceeded my expectations. I also tried a few other items that my friends ordered, and I thoroughly enjoyed each one. The bathroom was a beautiful addition to the restaurant. Although the sink pressure was a bit low, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. I noticed that my cellular connection was weak (at least for AT&T), so it would be great if they could provide some free Wi-Fi. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The Lion King, especially with the added spicy mayo, was an absolute delight. I couldn’t help but close my eyes and savor the explosion of flavors in my mouth. I hi

A total hidden gem! 🍣✨ I had dinner at Roku (Japanese cuisine) in Roseville and everything was amazing. The Chu-Toro (tuna belly sashimi) absolutely stole the show—hands down my favorite, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The Sashimi Moriawase was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, a must-order if you love quality fish. The BBQ oysters were packed with flavor, and the Roseville Roll was a great balance of freshness as take out for later. The restaurant itself is a bit small but full of energy and busy! The host was super friendly, helpful with suggestions, and genuinely kind. Even with how busy it was, the food came out quickly, which was impressive. Definitely one of those hole-in-the-wall gems you’re excited to discover and can’t wait to come back to. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best US sushi restaurants we’ve been outside of some high end sushi restaurants in Houston ( a huge foodie city the size of New York). I wasn’t sure how it would be as we are in Roseville but all aspects of it were excellent. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The place is adorable and the staff was excellent. They even use real chop sticks! Nice. We looked up other reviews and went on some recommendations. They were right. Pick some options off the daily specials menu. We had the scallop crudo and snapper off that menu. The Autumn of Canada and Roseville rolls were excellent as well. We also had the edamame. We had three beers between us as well and we paid $130 with tip. That is not of line from our perspective. We went at 4:30 before reservations start at 5:30. See

Had an outstanding experience at Roku, where I sampled what I can confidently say is the best Beef Teriyaki I’ve ever tasted—tender, flavorful, with perfectly caramelized glaze. Every dish we ordered received a perfect 10 out of 10, from the fresh sushi to the aromatic taro ice-cream. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff being prompt and accommodating. Presentation was elegant and appetizing, and the timing between courses was seamlessly coordinated. This restaurant has become my definitive Japanese dining spot in Roseville, combining authentic flavors with excellent service.

We had a wonderful experience here. On short notice, we needed a place to go to eat and we were fortunate to get in here. It's a relatively small, intimate venue, although it's not exactly the best place to have little kids running around, they were very sweet to us and enthusiastically accommodated our daughter the best they could with a nice high chair. I love the black salt on the edamame, and the mackerel was excellent quality. Tasty salad and miso, they were also able to accommodate with a reasonably good selection of cooked rolls. Teriyaki steak plate was excellent as well with crunchy fresh vegetables. Hostess waiter owner, were all very nice to us checking up on us regularly. We felt very welcomed here, loved the food and would happily return
