My wife and I go here at a minimum 3 days a week. The coffee is fantastic, the baked goods are incredible, and the workers are spectacular. This is honestly one of the best coffee shops in New Jersey, by far. Unfortunately, it’s a little small on the inside, so don’t expect to always get a seat. But in the spring, summer, and fall, you can go outside to the park that’s right next to the shop or walk around downtown Princeton. Highly recommend Rojos!
FANTASTIC COFFEE. No lie, this is probably THE best Mocha I've ever had (and I say that as a Seattleite/PNW'er). My wife and I are in town for the weekend, visiting my son and daughter-in-law, and this place was recommended by them for my morning coffee. Went right at 8 (when they opened), and the staff were SUPER friendly - which alone is different, as boutique coffee shop staffers often are on the taciturn side. Baked goods were fresh, and when the customer ahead of me ordered an oat bar, they asked whether he wanted a "corner" or a "middle"! Now, this is a huge deal (corner is crusty; middle is soft), but I've honestly never heard any place (even bakeries!) ask this!! My Mocha is amazing: layers of complexity to the chocolate, rather than just the usual one-note flavor, and the co
I absolutely loved this place. As a first-timer in Princeton, I really appreciated their friendly service. Even though I stayed for a while, the staff remained so kind and kept my coffee refilled. It’s such a pleasant way to start my day and welcoming atmosphere. This is officially my to-go cafe when I’m around! I’ll be back for sure.
It's a really nice vibe here. They have a student discount which helps if you're a Princeton student. Unfortunately they don't have points here so it might be more worth for an underclassman to go to somewhere that accepts points. However they have some specialty drinks that other places don't have. I got the yuzu drink and I really liked it. My friend got the hot chocolate and was also a fan. I wouldn't expect to find seating here because it's small.
Quite possibly the best coffee I've ever had. Highly recommend. I had a latte with rosemary brown sugar, and my husband got one with caramel. The flavors in mine were present, distinct, and balanced, without overpowering the coffee. My husband's caramel syrup tasted like caramel candies without being overly sweet. It was also a very distinct flavor.
