Hands DOWN one of the best libraries in NJ! I’ve experienced many other libraries in NJ & different states, but this one by far is still at the top of my list! I use to bring my kids here over 6 years ago & it’s still just as amazing, but with new technology, opportunities etc… A couple fun features I love & learned about…Free parking within 30 minutes, self validated parking for library card holders for 2 hours, cute library merch, self checkout kiosks, a library store featuring donated books of many genres, CD’s, DVD’s, starting at just $1 & up, charging outlets ALL over the library, lovely outdoor sitting area on the 3rd floor, also a cool teen section, lots of comfortable seating on every floor, the cafe is still going strong, offering many food/drink options, assistive listening techn

This library is a true pleasure for book lovers and those looking for a productive workspace. The spacious and beautiful environment creates a pleasant atmosphere, and the numerous computers make it an excellent place for studying and working. There are also conference rooms available for meetings or group study sessions. Cleanliness is top-notch – the restrooms are always well-maintained and pleasant. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. An added bonus is the café on the first floor, where you can grab a snack or enjoy a coffee during a break. The only major downside is parking. Finding a spot can be challenging, but if you have a library card, you supposedly get 2 hours of free parking, which is very convenient. However, to obtain a library card, you must be a resident

This is where I like to tuck in when the cafes and streets are bustling with students or tourists. Three floors (although the third floor is currently closed for cleaning-week of Oct 6th, 2025) of books and workspace. Stairs and elevators to get you access of the building. Bathrooms and water stations on each floor. Main entrance has a small cafe as well (please note the cage doesn’t have electric plugs at its tables for working space). You can reserve conference rooms but must sign up in advance. $20/hr. Library cards have perks like free 30min blocks I believe but you need to be a resident of the county and show proof of. One of the best public libraries I have been to! Third floor is for kids and young adults. The second floor has a lot of quiet spaces and the entire library has tons of amenities. You do not have to have a library ID to use the facilities but strongly recommend you get one if you live in the area. Clean and well organized. Check out the bullet for community events!

Beautiful library with kind and helpful staff. Mrs. Friberg helped my son take his summer class test. With support from both his professor at UT Austin and Mrs. Friberg, everything went smoothly and stress-free for him. Thanks a million!
