Where do I even start? My fiancé and I stumbled on this absolute gem randomly the week after they opened. We have been back twice since! The owner and her waitstaff are incredible! They are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable! She also makes the drinks at the bar and they are always so good! I have planned trips up to Lava just for an excuse to bring my fiancé here. They have a rotating seasonal menu and I can’t wait to try their winter options! We always end up getting a few drinks, appetizers, and sometimes dessert! My favorite meal so far was the steak frites! The steak was seasoned perfectly and the fries were so good! I also super enjoyed the goat cheese pasta! I cannot recommend ROGUE enough! I bought my fiancé a shirt after he ate the signature burger and it’s always on rotat

We have a few different places in the Lava Hot Springs and Soda Springs area and so far this has been the best place to go sit down to eat. The location is small so you’ll want to make sure to call ahead to get a spot. I got the chicken Parmesan and my husband got one of the burgers. He said it was best one he has had around this area. The chicken parm was good but I did not like that there was still a bone in the chicken. The pasta, cooked in wine, enhances the overall presentation, but not so much the flavor. I really only wanted to try it for the burrata. The burrata made the rest of the food better. Though, my favorite food we had that night was the appetizer. We got the bread and oil board and I could have just eaten that the whole meal. It was delicious. Definitely worth a try!

This place was fantastic. Way above expectations. Our waitress Carol went way above and beyond. Food was presented beautifully and taste was fantastic! Highly recommend this place. The mushroom dip was great with patty added. The mahi mahi fish and chips was the best ever. Salmon and pot roast excellent too.

What a great dining experience the wife and I had here for our 1st year marriage anniversary ! As you walk through the door you can feel the warm energy & welcoming presence , With dimmed lighting creating calming atmosphere & such pleasant smells coming from the kitchen. We were promptly welcomed in by the owner Carol who at the time was working the entry booth . She was very kind and even took the time to come chat with us for a bit at our table just to thank us for giving them a try and let us know about some of the specials dishes for that night . As follows her staff seemed just as nice and bubbly. They all seemed to be in sync and have kind of a family vibe going on . Unfortunately I forgot our waitresses name but she was phenomenal! So nice & very attentive and knowledgeabl

Wow.. the food and staff were beyond our expectations, not just for lava food (which is usually just O.K.) but in general! The food was delicious and everything is made from scratch. I had the black and blue(surf and turf) and the steak was the best I’ve ever had, including anywhere I’ve eaten in Idaho or Utah. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. If you’re thinking of trying out this new place in lava it’s well worth your money and time!! We will be coming back… a LOT 😂
