Riverwalk Thai Food

My friends recommended this place from when they came over a year ago. Something must have changed. This was absolutely awful! The silverware came in the water cups along with a pitcher of water. And the coke came out in a can. I think the beef was boiled and came out cold no seasoning or flavor at all, My 2 yo liked the rice but it was not a consistent texture throughout. I think the peanut sauce is peanut butter, soy sauce I think? The server was nice, but inexperienced and didn’t check on us at all. Over all a sad sad experience. The server did get the manager to take the beef Lao off the tab.

We have eaten here for years and really liked it and the great Thai family running it. I wished we were warned. Ownership has changed. The Thai has been removed from the Riverwalk. The Pad Thai was good. The wanton soup, massaman and green curry was not good. The beef was inedible. I’ve never seen Massaman look like this. Too thin, with only potatoes and not a good flavor. Wanton soup is very bland.The green curry flavor was ok but the frozen corn, peas and carrots ruined it. Green curry basics should include bamboo shoots and some peppers. The chicken satay was like jerky. I am disappointed that my biannual Lava trip won’t include a good Thai dinner anymore. Unfortunately this kitchen crew and new management does not know what makes good Thai food.

Absolutely amazing service—everyone was so friendly and welcoming to my entire family. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The pineapple ham fried rice was to die for—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of sweetness and savory. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Service was okay, nothing poor just not exceptional. The pineapple fried rice was good. The yellow curry was also good, I was not a fan of the squishy texture of the beef, but that's just me.

Authentic thai food !! Yummy and Reasonable price Restaurant is clean. Owner is so kindly . We’re thai , so happy with this meals❤️.
