Rogue Coffee

Rouge Coffee feels like a hidden, underground-style spot in downtown, open, airy, and aesthetically unique. It’s run entirely by women, creating a welcoming and safe vibe. The coffee quality is strong, on par with Black & Brew and better than Hillcrest and Pour Bear, with noticeably reasonable prices for what you get. They offer pastries, cookies (the s’mores is a standout), croissants, and even a novelty $25 Dubai chocolate bar. Subtle Jordanian-American cultural touches are sprinkled throughout the space.

Awesome coffee. Excellent breakfast sandwich. Delicious red velvet cheesecake cookie. The space is very nice and huge. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for coffee, a bite, for to hang out and get a little bit of work done.

Amazing coffee and great customer service! The girls working there were super friendly and welcoming. We ordered a bagel with cream cheese — it was so fresh and soft! The coffee lattes were absolutely amazing, and we also tried a chocolate muffin that came out fresh from the oven — oh my God, it was speechless! Everything was perfect. Definitely coming back again!

I ordered a Spanish latte, and the coffee had a slightly stronger flavor compared to other cafes—but it paired well with the smoked Cajun turkey and provolone cheese sandwich. The turkey wasn’t overpowered, and the bread they used was delicious and complemented the overall taste. The place seems like it’s still under renovation or not fully finished, but the relaxing music and comfy sofas make it a cozy spot. Just be aware that there might be some background noise from the air conditioning or electrical systems.

I am SO glad to see a place like this in Lakeland. The atmosphere and vibe is so well done and it’s the only place I’ve heard in Lakeland that does Karak Chai. The place is clean and inviting and the owner, Aisha, is super kind and came out to speak with us. I like this place better than Foxtail or Black and Brew. Please give it a try and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
