The couple of cupcake cake she had made for me were to die for i haven't had a cupcake forever and when I bit into it my mouth was watering. The place is a cute old time theme cute space it was clean smells YUMMY 😋 everything she does is fresh daily. Definitely the spot to come for your goodies and special occasion for custom cakes needs

I came in to order a cake for our anniversary. It was just two of us, so something small but pretty. I wanted it to be the flavors of our original wedding cake which are a little unusual. Well, Mel's did not disappoint! My husband said it was better than our wedding cake & I agree. This cake was amazing!! The outside was gorgeous! The actual cake was perfect, just the right amount of filling & icing! If you're searching for a cake, you've found the right place!!! They were so friendly when I ordered & then when I picked up. The turn around time was incredibly quick. This will be my go to for every bakery need! Thank you Mel's!

I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s birthday and it was not only a work of art, it was delicious! The ordering process was great as well, I just described what I was thinking and she drew a sketch right then. We will be returning for future events!

This experience from start to finish was fantastic! I was looking for a cheesecake for my husband’s birthday without going to the grocery store. I was searching online and found Mel’s Desserts and Delights with raving reviews. She definitely did not disappoint! Not only was she fast responding, she set-up a time to deliver as well. Just visited today for the first time, and Lakeland has needed a bakery like this for a long time now! Somewhere you can walk-in and get things like cookies, iced cookies, cake slices, cupcakes, cake pops, cinnamon rolls, and more. We have plenty of bakeries specializing in fancy pastries, but not many specializing with these types of sugar-loaded desserts! The lady who helped us was incredibly kind and accommodating.
