Rocky's New York Style

This was our second time here. The first time we ordered pizza and antipasto salad. The salad was great and the pizza was good. I prefer mine to be cooked a little longer than what we got. The toppings just didn't seam done enough for my preference. Tonight we decided to get pasta and house salad. The salad was basic but good, thier ranch is tasty. I had the manicotti, the marinara sauce is on point but the manicotti was eh. I presume it was frozen mannicoti heated up. Every time we've been here, it has been fairly busy and seems to have a loyal following among locals and tourists. They have a decent selection of local brews on tap. I would eat here again but would probably opt for the pizza.

First time visiting. My kiddos wanted pizza so we opted for Rocky‘s pizza. I was very surprised to see how beautiful the inside was and even more importantly, the customer service felt like family. I highly recommend, especially for families with young children. I highly recommend and I’m already looking forward to returning the kiddos.

TLDR; too long a wait time and got the wrong order. We love Rocky’s normally. But this was a bad experience. We ordered over the phone and we were told it’d be 15-20 minutes. We got there at the 20 minute mark and they said it’d be another 5 minutes. No problem. Then 20 minutes goes by. Small problem. A long wait wouldn’t be a problem if they just were honest and said so. Don’t tell me 15 minutes when it’s 45 in reality. We finally got our pizza and took it home, only to see it wasn’t our pizza. We ordered a 3 topping for $25 and got a plain pepperoni. We called back and they did offer a remake, which was nice. But I’m not sure we’ll be making another take out order.

Best place to eat in 29 palms. I eat here at least once a week and they are also great for take out. My favorite is the chopped steak salad.

Maybe an off day, off pizza and off experience but for price of This pizza it was pretty trash. The workers were nice but there were maybe 15 people in the restaurant and 4 active order and my pizza took over half and hour. When it came out the bottom was burnt and the top was mushy. It was so oily that ranch dressing would not stick to the pizza and would slide off and picked up. We just went home and had a frozen pizza. Pizza here is 24.75 plus tax for a large. Frozen is 4 and papa John s is 9. It’s a local business but not worth it with the quality.
