My family came in from out of town and we wanted to go try Vaqueros for the first time. We were so excited to try this place because there's literally no other place here in 29 that sells mariscos. Vaqueros did not disappoint. We ordered a shrimp and octopus cocktail, an octopus tostada, la torrecita, breaded shrimp, and other items and everything was delicious. We're definitely looking forward to going back and trying new items off the menu. Love that most of the items are al estilo Jalisco! We did have to wait a little more than expected for our food but it was fine because they had games and we were playing blackjack and dominoes while we waited. The aguas frescas could be better but we were told they were going to start making them in house, so we can't wait to try them! I definitely r

This place is amazing! Great food, great service, everything! We got the seafood boil since we’re originally from south Texas and it reminded us of home ❤️ definitely a new favorite place! I would post a photo but the food was so good we completely forgot 😂

Food was great if you are a hungry hiker coming from Joshua tree this place is well worth the drive and wait time. I got a big burrito (it really is big). The food is all made fresh so depending on what you get you might have to wait but I promise it is worth it. Definitely check this place out.

Four of us came for lunch today. We ordered 2 crispy carnitas plates and two birrias plates. The food was exceptional. The crunch on the tacos was so good. The sauce was mild, so if I could eat it, virtually anyone could. I would not order these for taco out unless you verified the sauce was on the side. We ate in today, but making the note for future visits. There was only one server. She was very friendly but quickly got very busy towards the end of our meal. Please come eat here. Next time we will order their seafood. The table near us ordered some and made all of us drool. Seating is in a covered outside area. We were fine but they had heaters for those that needed them during winter months.
