I stopped by Rocket Fizz while walking through Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe, and it turned out to be one of those fun novelty shops that immediately catches your attention. The store specializes in retro candy and unique soda flavors that you do not usually find in regular grocery stores. The first thing that stands out when you walk in is the colorful wall of glass soda bottles. There are dozens of unusual flavors ranging from classic root beer varieties to novelty sodas with creative labels and unexpected ingredients. It almost feels like a small museum of soda and candy. Such a fun store! There is a huge selection of drinks and candy of all kinds both serious and novelty! You’ll find flavorful sodas all the way to nasty barf and ranch dressing soda flavors! Lots of exotic and unique candy you may have never had before, some of the smaller candy bars are a little too expensive ( 8$ for a snickers bar ) is a little stretch even for a unique flavor, however great shop, nice hip hop music playing and this store also has cool trinkets and souvenirs

This is a fun shop to go to. We pretty much go here to pick up some sweets every time we visit South Lake Tahoe. This time on Sunday (3/26) and it’s no different. The place is fun, inviting, warm, and filled from wall to wall with candy, sweets, treats, anything you can think of. I found stuff from my childhood days. Expect to pay a little more for the treats but it’s worth it. I highly recommend paying this place a visit if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it.

This place will take you back to your childhood no matter how old ya are ! They have it all, trust me . That candy that your grandma had as a treat, the one you loved going to the store to get .. they have it! The drink selection is crazy cool. Prices not to bad. They have bins in the back you can fill bags for a couple different prices. They are a chain store so if ya ever see one stop in.
