The sales guy was very friendly on sight! He immediately offered me a menu and explained my options. He even allowed me to substitute hush puppies for French fries. However, when I got my food, it was not hot. My crabcakes tasted like they were charred from a grill. My hush puppies were sweet and did not have enough cornbread taste for me. All of my sauces were still slightly frozen. Their homemade cocktail sauce was awesome, even in chunks. I will have to try the butter for the hush puppies later because I couldn't taste anything but grease while it was cold. There are no public bathrooms and no dine-in areas yet. We are a Maryland/DC-based crab delivery service and seafood restaurant that delivers steamed or live blue crabs and seafood straight to your front door. Also shipping Maryland blue crabs Nationwide. We had BBQ wings and the R&L Seafood Bowl, everything was great. My only complaint was my butter was a little too salty. They are still open for carry-out only and they do deliver on Doordash

I saw a sign for this place while I was driving home with my son. He wanted to check it out. We ordered crab cake sandwich, lobster roll, crab deviled eggs, and cream of crab soup. I’m so glad we checked out this place. Everything was delicious. The crab cake was pretty big and there’s not much of filling, mostly just big lump crab meat. The lobster roll was a lot too. The devil eggs with crab meat was really good. I never had deviled eggs with crab meat before. We’ll definitely come back here! The price is reasonable for the quality of food that we got.

Simply disappointed had high hopes at round 2. Avoided reviewing until now. Today, I ordered XL male and these were medium. The large I got before were larger. In both instances a few were light and 1 or 2 oversteamed such that the meat was mushy. I supported twice primarily because it's a Black-owned business and tried again without beer, bottomline with or without beer flavor lacked. As a result, I don't recommend for crabs. I'm disappointed because I hope my #1 had competition. I only ordered a half-dz; remaining trashed. Can't do nothing with mush. However, I absolutely love their Honey Jalepeno cornbread minis, and will only seek those items; when desired. I heard the crab fries is good, may give it a go. This place is a must try! The food (as seen in the photos) was so good!!! I’m skeptical of anyone selling cornbread, especially with jalapeños, but these ladies nailed it! The shrimp was perfect, cornbread was breading & the crab deviled eggs were crabbing! Thank you R&L for your kindness and hospitality, it was a pleasure meeting you. (I’ll definitely try the other dishes soon)!
