El Sabor Chapin A hidden gem right in my neighborhood that I somehow overlooked until now. This bright and colorful food truck caught my view as I entered the Sunoco gas station in Hickory Ridge Village Center off Freetown Road in Columbia. I placed my order, then checked the air in my tires and got gas—two birds with one stone! By the time I returned, my lunch was ready. They serve freshly prepared Guatemalan-style food with very generous portions. I ordered the tacos choosing 2 flavors each of chicken and steak, burrito filled with tender steak pieces and then a Carne Asada burrito. The flavors were delicious, ingredients were fresh and nothing was overly spicy. Sliced cucumbers and radish with sauces topped each dish and the service was friendly with no long wait. I’ve been coming to this taco truck for years now…and I hope and plan to keep doing so! The food is fabulous and delicious, and the portions are quite generous. I’ve had many tacos and quesadillas from here, they’re excellent, but my regular now is a steak torta (best. sandwich. ever.). Usually my order lasts me two or more meals! Can’t overstate how much I love this restaurant and appreciate the consistent, high quality food its owner cooks up. Check it out! This place IS my Chipotle! Better food, better portions, AND better prices! Thank you to the restaurant owner for maintaining this wonderful food fixture in our community!

Finally got around to trying this spot. A nice man took my order and food was ready in what seemed like 5 mins. I went just prior to 1130 to avoid the lunch crowd. The steak and chorizo tacos were exceptional, I tried it as it comes with pico and cheese which ended up being a queso. Very good. Well priced vs other trucks. I will return to continue trying the rest of the menu. I really enjoyed the green salsa, the red was slightly watered down but still tasted good.

This the best Food Truck in Maryland! Also some.fo the best food in MD. You can taste the ingredients are fresh, and their sauces are delicious. I usually get the Steak Tacos, and the Queso in the taco sets it off. Have had family get the Burrito Bowl, and the Pasta. They LOVED both. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ive only had the chicken burritos from this food truck a few times, and each time they tasted delicious!! I recommend requesting the hot sauce packets and drizzling them onto the burritos because they really add to the flavor! The food is in a great portion and is very filling. The owner is friendly and it only takes 10-20 min to get your order (I call ahead). Everyone in my family loves the food too!
