River Road Hot Bagels

If I could give this place 10 stars, out of 5, I would!!! I've been coming here for 20 years.... Old fair lawn alumni here and I can stand by this place as the best bagels I've ever had in life traveling all over the world. Whenever I'm back in town I make sure to stop in and get a bagel or half a dozen. Whether it's cream cheese, butter, or a bacon egg and cheese, River rd hot bagels slap Every. Single. Time. Long live river road bagels.

Very nice staff, very good food (Turkey egg and cheddar cheese breakfast roll. Cheese was just right amount of gooey and yummy, Turkey tasty and warm.) The important part tho was that I got a surprise mini bagel with my Kaiser roll order and that’s the best surprise ever. I love my mini bagel, it’s my whole personality now.

Best bagels around!!! We are frequent repeat customers. Very efficient and well run. The staff is amazing and work hard to get your order ready! Just did a big order for us for the staff at our school and everyone is RAVING that these were the best sandwiches. The owner pours his heart into his business and it truly shows!! 10/10

Super snappy and quick service. The cashier was rigid, rough and tough without being mean. The world needs more of her. Short Latina lady. Didn't catch her name. Got a Taylor ham egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Super good. Bagels baked in house too. Points off for atmosphere because it's a bit bright and the interior could use some sprucing up. Definitely recommend.

If one wants to get their bagel fix, then this is the place located in Fair Lawn. Greeted by the staff, my partner and I arrived today for a small bite at River Road Hot Bagels. Their bagels are daily made on-site and have a lot of options. There’s a lot of foot traffic as it is takeout only with no seating indoors. Greeted upon arrival, we decided on a wheat bagel with plain cream cheese and a salt bagel with vegetable cream cheese. The bagels were light, fluffy with a decent crisp, good size, and tasty. The counter staff is fast, courteous, and accurate. Price is comparable to the area. We were first-timers today but won’t be our last, as we can recommend this place.
