River House Inn - CLOSED

We had a wonderful stay in the River (Magnolia) Cottage for an evening while passing through. Everything was great - the accomodations, the property and especially the conversations with Joe. Our dog loved being able to stretch his legs after a long day of driving, and the town was fun to check out for the evening. We'll definitely be back if we're in the Snow Hill area again!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here the night of our wedding. Joe and Lisa could not be better hosts! The Magnolia cottage was perfect place to go on our first night married. The grounds are beautiful and give the best views. The breakfast was hands down some of the best I hav ever had. We got to explore the house and everyone was so friendly. It is definitely a yearly tradition for us now.

Snow Hill is a quaint town with proprietor owned shops all within walking distance from the River House. We stayed during the off-season but were still able to have a delicious dinner at Oaked. At the River House, Joe welcomed us and made us feel right at home, giving us a tour and some history. Waking up in the morning, we could smell the aroma of breakfast and the taste of which did not disappoint. Will look to go back to this region again during the spring/summer and stay at the River House Inn.

We initially booked for only 2 nights, and after staying, we extended our stay by another night. We have stayed at numerous B & Bs and have come to recognize those that are set apart as special. The house was beautiful and historic, and the rooms are lovely. The innkeepers, specifically Joe and Lisa, were so kind and accommodating, from the complementary snacks/ beverages to the delicious breakfasts and even allowing us to use their computer/printer for business and the access to chairs/towels for the beach. Though located in a tiny hamlet of Snow Hill (which is so quaint and cute by the way!), it is conveniently located to Assateague, Berlin, or Ocean City. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning for another long weekend.

Lisa, Bonnie, and Joe all made our stay very comfortable. It’s a cute little place walking distance to shops and a bar with live music. The Inn has a pool and plenty of spots around the property to enjoy a book. Nice state park just down the road. Very dog friendly and even cooked our girl some bacon at breakfast. Human food was great too. 10/10 will visit again.
