Chanceford Hall Bed and Breakfast

Our Chanceford Hall Mother's Day weekend experience was incredible. The property is majestic full of history and charm. Our hosts Shae and Matt were superior with such attention to detail. We highly recommend a visit/vacation to this beautiful place. ♥️

I booked a night at Chanceford Hall with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Upon calling and confirming the reservation, the proprietress Shea was more than accommodating! She made sure to ask if we had any allergies, and also offered a complementary bottle of champagne to help us celebrate. When we arrived, she and her husband immediately greeted us and showed us to our room, telling us all about the history of Chanceford Hall (it's older than the USA!!). Shea's also an avid collector of historic memorabilia, and spoke about numerous pieces she had on display in the dining room and parlor, as well as our room. I cannot say enough about how much I love Chanceford Hall! My husband and I had our wedding reception here and also stayed at Chanceford Hall for the weekend with our bridal party. The grounds are beautiful. The house is exquisitely furnished with period pieces to suit the presidential theme. The Proprietress, Lady Shae, is the ultimate hostess. The breakfasts and Charcuterie that she prepared for us were scrumptious! Not to mention the best coffee I think I have ever had! If you are visiting Snow Hill or planning a small, intimate wedding in the area, Chanceford Hall is Top Notch!

We reserved a few rooms at this lovely B&B for guests/family members attending my daughter's wedding last Fall. The location was perfect for a wedding in Snow Hill and the hosts could not have been more accommodating, pleasant and professional. In addition to the comfortable rooms, they provide a delicious breakfast fit for a top rated restaurant. Shae also organized, and caterered a brunch the day after the wedding for any guests still in town, including a delicious 3 course meal and reconfiguring her space to accommodate more people. I highly recommend Chanceford Hall for your next getaway -- it's just a 20 minute drive from the gorgeous Assateauge National Seashore Beach and the town of Berlin as well as just 30 minutes from Chincoteague.

My mother and I stayed at Chanceford Hall this weekend for her birthday weekend. It was a chance to relax, read books, and eat birthday cake. We had a great time! The room was perfect - two large beds for us. The owners were lovely and very helpful about the town. Snow Hill has such beautiful architecture - we had very nice walks around town. We also had afternoon coffee and donuts and dinner in the downtown eateries. The best part was the amazing breakfast at the Inn. Delicious multi-course breakfast on the very best china and crystal. After this breakfast, I spent my Saturday morning reading my bookclub book in the hammock, in the shade of the giant magnolia tree. Great place for a getaway weekend!
