Down Under

This place may not be well known to most that aren't from around Snow Hill, but it is a great place to eat. It's not your typical diner experience. Frist of all, the staff are fantastic. Always polite and patient. Secondly, the food is soooooo good. I'd recommend the corn nuggets and the Down Under Burger. The value is really great at this place. Definitely one of those places that I try to bring up when I am with friends talking about restaurants we like.

This is second time I didn't get what I asked for on sub. No lettuce no tomato no mayo.For a large sub fries and wings and gave tip. 35.00 and didn't get what I asked for on sub. I wouldn't have said anything but it's the second time.

I was hoping for freshly hot fries but I just got what they had. The burgers was superb and juicy.

This is a decent burger shop in a small town. I'm sure the locals love it. It has a small seating area inside yet plenty of outside seating. The person working the register doesn't know the difference between one burger and the other on the menu, so that was weird. The 1/2 pound burger is a grilled cheese with a patty in the center, and a 1/2 pound of butter at least the fries are crispy. I enjoyed the messages posted around the place.

The burger was really good and well prepared the bun was kind of falling apart maybe if it was slightly buttered and toasted or toasted on the grill the bone would probably hold together better. The crinkle cut french fries were all so good.
