River Bend Pizza & Subs

I ordered a meatball sub and some sweet potato fries to be home delivered. The person on the phone was very nice. The order came swiftly, and like a dummy, I forgot to have the cash on me. I had it laid out and ready but forgot to bring it down. The delivery person patiently waited and didn't treat me like the dummy I felt like I was. And on top of all that the food was awesome! Ever since I had Covid 4-5 years ago, I haven't been able to taste a cheeseburger so I was reluctant to order a meatball sub, thinking it would have no flavor. I could taste all of it. The cheese, the meat, the sauce, the bread... Each ingredient special and All delicious! I will absolutely be ordering again. I wish the sweet potato fries were fatter but they were still great!

This is the first time I ate their steak & cheese subs in over 20 years, seeing I moved to NC. They're still as good as I remember. First class! Of course the prices are higher now, but it is well worth it. I'll be back next time I'm through the area. A++++

This is a gem of a place in Dover. We order pizza from here once a week, and it is the best pizza I ever had (sorry NY, I like it even better than yours). The staff is very friendly, and it is an always pleasant experience taking out from here. Location is right by the park, and even though I always do take out, the view is great if you choose to dine here.

My wife found this place online while we were visiting the children's museum down the road. I walked in and instantly knew it was going to be good. It reminds me of the local package store that did pizza and subs back home. The kind of place if I lived near by I would go to everyday after school. The food was great. Easily top 5 sub I ever had. Pizza was great. Price was what you would expect eating out these days! Highly recommend! If I ever end up in Dover I will be back!

The best pizza and subs in Dover are found here. The pizza is perfect with a lot of flavor, sweeter sauce, and a thin crust. Another plus is that it's incredibly consistent. Much less greasy than other places. I highly recommend their steak and cheese subs. Service is always super friendly and the location is right across the street from the park.
