Silver Fountain Inn & Tea Parlor

My wife and I had a Grand time at the Silver Fountain Inn. It has a old charm to the building and rooms. Our room was comfy and the bed was better than most. There is always a fantastic selection of quality tea to sample. The staff though, they really made the stay memorable. Everyone we encountered was kind and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. They brought a joy and warmth to the place. The breakfast selection was great and the food was delicious. We left with several large bags of tea and so many great memories.

The silver fountain inn & tea parlor was such a wonderful experience. We went for the murder mystery dinner and had so much fun. The inn did such an amazing job. The food and drinks were delicious. We stayed in the Duke which was very comfortable and spacious. The entire inn is very clean and hospitable. The real treat of staying here was the staff. Everyone we came into contact with were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend the Silver fountain inn to others.

The Silver Fountain Inn is one of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts we have stayed in. It is a lovely well maintained historic home. We loved our two nights there and the town of Dover. The staff are welcoming, breakfast is delicious, and it was a treat to sit downstairs at night with a cup of tea and cookies. I wished we’d been able to go to afternoon tea as it looked good.

Silver Fountain Inn & Tea Parlor is, without hyperbole, one of the best places I have ever stayed at! My husband and I travel constantly and we have never encountered such warmth, kindness, and hospitality as we have here. Gail and Kim were both so sweet, informative, and filled with passion for what they do. We stayed in The Boudoir, which was the original family’s music room. The beautiful crown molding, silk patterns on the walls, and delicate detailing throughout the room are all original. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we had the best 8 hours of sleep that we’ve had in ages. Our lunch in the tea parlor (which featured maybe the best scones I’ve ever had!!) and our breakfast in the morning were both so quiet, intimate, and delicious. My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Silver Fountain Inn, and I must say it was one of the best stays I've had in years. I was able to call ahead and get answers to any questions I had, and when my wife arrived they were waiting to show her around immediately. For fans of old houses, the Inn itself is a beautiful display of Victorian Architecture inside and out. The floors, walls and decorative trim are all in fantastic shape given the age of the house itself. The interior was reminiscent of my Grandparents Victorian home, which made it rather appealing for me. This isn't your everyday modern hotel, when you walk through the front door, it feels like you're stepping directly into the Gilded Age.
