Ritter's Frozen Custard

This used to be our go-to ice cream place, but after our recent visit, I’ll definitely think twice about returning. Over the weekend, we ordered several items. While eating my glacier, I bit into something that was not ice cream or an M&M. I pulled it out of my mouth and discovered it was a chunk of styrofoam. Needless to say, that was extremely concerning. I tried to contact the business online to notify them in writing so they could check their cups or supplies, but after a week with no response, I tracked down a phone number and called. When I asked to speak with a manager, the man who answered said he was the manager. I explained what happened and was met with a long pause and an “okay.” When I expressed concern that he didn’t seem worried, his response was a very unconvincing apolog

Waited in line for over 15 minutes with 5 kids in my car just for him to tell me they’re closed. I asked if that was a joke because we just waited in line with 5 kids who knew what they wanted and he said “any car that pulls in after a certain time” blah blah. I said I didn’t.. I waited in line for a long time! He basically told me too bad like I was lying: wouldn’t give me a manager, or corporate number. Not only lost my business for tonight but my 5 kids and I will go to Dairy Queen right up the road from now on if they treat people like that.

Great service I really enjoyed my frozen custard. I appreciate the rotating flavors, so I can try different flavors on different days. I sampled the strawberry cheesecake and did not like that it tasted artificially flavored. I ordered a single scoop of the peanut butter rush in a waffle cone. It was rich but very good. The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of seats if you order at the walk up window, or you can utilize the drive thru for your convenience.

I was up to this cute/cool ice cream place three Friday's ago and oh man they have so many amazing options to choose from. If anyone is a mint chocolate chip fan try it from here it’s the best I’ve had. You won’t regret coming to this place it’s the best! Would love to go again sometime.

I ordered a large cookie dough with chocolate chips for delivery and wow. It’s very delicious. One of my favorites now
