Rita's Pizza and Chicken

I had just landed in Omaha and drove an hour to Lincoln. I was so hungry and I wanted to try something local. I walked in and the girl at the counter was kind of just there. Not nice and not rude just kind of give me your order and go sit down. I got the 4 piece chicken dinner. I would not recommend the chicken but the wedges and coleslaw were amazing. I was extremely hungry, I still ate the chicken. I didn’t go back here my entire trip. Although I wanted to go do the pizza challenge.

Tried this place last night on day 1 of my lincoln nebraska trip from out of town. Honestly, i had one of worst pizzas of my life. The entire thing tasted like smoke. And the pizza wasn't burnt, but it was a very dark orange and discolored. It seemed like the result of an extremely dirty oven. Disgusting taste, but they were the only place open that would deliver after midnight so I paid $30 for an almost inedible 12 inch pizza. To their credit they, said if I brought it in the next day they would help me out, unfortunately we didn't have any other food in our air bnb so we picked at it and reluctantly ate half the pizza. Absolutely incredible experience at Rita’s! The food was phenomenal, from the perfectly cooked pizza with the best cheese pull we’ve ever seen, to the delicious appetizer basket (mozzarella sticks, cheese curds, corn dogs, chicken strips, and cheesy ravioli) and the sweet funnel fries. Everything we tried was top-tier. The vibe might throw you off at first, but don’t let that fool you, this place is a hidden gem. What really sets Rita’s apart is the personal touch. The owner, Rita, made sure we were fully taken care of and even helped us figure out what to order. She was so kind and genuinely welcoming, you can tell she cares about her customers and her food. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but honestly, it’s worth every dollar. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Rita’s Pizza was a random night discovery after growing up in Lincoln, NE my whole life.. it hands down has been my TOP fav pizza place especially their Alfredo anything pizzas. Overall fast customer service and full support / shout out to Rita and her beautiful business. <3

We had the Star City (pepperoni + cream cheese) and added mushrooms. Really good pizza. But the thing that impressed me was how much variety they had. Like 40+ options? We're looking forward to trying more!
