Riptide Coastal BBQ

I spent two weeks lingering in anxious anticipation for this night to come, so I could once again get my hands on some of the best bbq around. Riptide Coastal BBQ is a delicious addition to downtown Seneca Falls! Located on the historic corner of Fall and State Streets, this charming space is home to an amazing menu of homemade, hand-crafted meats, sides and sauces. Did I mean to take pictures of the food? Yes. Did I dive in and eat all of it before I remembered to take said pictures? Also yes. You would have done the same in my shoes, and I am not ashamed. Across my family, we sampled the entire menu, and every single item brought the flavor. I'm not a qualified food critic so you're not going to get any fancy descriptions out of me that will do it justice. Just try it. Like, right away

The food is fresh delicious. The only reason I did not give a five star rating is due the portion to price ratio. The portion size is small compared to the price imo. I do not usually finish any meal in a restaurant, I finished it. If someone is a big eater they will order one meal and leave/still be hungry. The price is not reflective of the food portion size. The quality of the food is good as well as freshness. It could use more seasonings. The ambience was fun & music was great. The owner as well as the team were all very nice and friendly. This was the second pop up event they had and my first time stopping in.

Delicious. I have Celiac and nearly everything on their menu is gluten free. The owner was really nice and helpful. He said everything they make on site is gluten free, including the cornbread. I had the Caribbean chicken with pineapple rice and the Carolina pit beans - so good!

Walked in, ordered quickly, was very satisfied with the food and how flavorful it was. I got the brisket over rice with drunken reaper sauce and calypso baked beans. The brisket was cooked very tender and the texture was great. The brisket dry rub was subtle but the sauce brought it together! The calypso baked beans on the other hand was extremely good, flavorful, hearty and filling. Service was quick and blunt, which is understandable for a new business. They change their menu each week and I do plan on coming back and trying new items on the menu.

Finally got a chance to try the barbecue and we're Hooked! We shared a pork plate and got a "Big Kahuna" to gift to my sister and brother in law ❤️ Loved the beans! (And I'm not a huge bean fan but these are the bomb!) Meat was plentiful and the rice was excellent also. If you haven't tried this place yet - Go!
