Richards Free Library

I travel to many libraries. This library is outstanding. Dexter (named for the founder)the library cat gave me a full tour. The museum above the library was so interesting. Thank you for the kind librarians there for making this library an exceptional experience.

The worker's there are amazing and very helpful. The building is awesome inside and out I personally love very old places🙂. They have wifi, computers you can use, movie's that you can rent an area for kids and rooms upstairs on the second floor. The one thing that really stands out is the very big painting in the library. If you're a history fanatic and want to learn about the town from way back in the day the library has very interesting books on Newport!

Newport's town library is located in a beautiful old house. They have a good collection of books, DVDs, and even games that can be borrowed. My experience of the staff is that they are friendly and helpful. The library is a real asset to the town.

They are always very friendly and my children loved going there and the cat or cats are such a sweet addition

Beautiful library that has a very large selection for a small town. Staff is super friendly and there are lots of activities for the kids and family to participate in.
