We've lived in the area 10 years and it's the best pizza we've had. From the New Haven area/pizza haven and Pizza Hero is a contender for sure. Definitely on the list when family comes to town now. It was fresh ingredients, perfect crust, not sloppy-- what a gem, really. Mr. Pizza Hero brought it right out to us, great service and nice guy, and just can't drive home enough: delicious pizza. Worth the stop and try!
Stationed at Protectworth Brewery serving absolutely delicious pizza made to order. Service is outstanding! Makes you feel like you are among family.

Some of the best pizza around without having to drive to New Haven. Highly recommended and no it is not overpriced and yes it is obviously fresh ingredients. It's so obnoxious to post presumptuous, incorrect information about a place of business trying their best to offer something new to the area, actual good food! Whatever happened to "if you can't say something nice it's better not to say anything"? SMDH
A true pizza hero. Lovely little bus outside Protectworth Brewery for the perfect relationship of beer and pizza.
