Rhett's Bar & Grill

First time there. Place was busy even at 3:30 PM on a Saturday. We didn't see the bar so it must be on the other side from our booth. The place seems well maintained and clean. It was noisy but we could talk ok. This is primarily a seafood restaurant but has other options like burgers and salads. It has a large menu and serves alcohol. Service was very good. It has booths and tables and a bar. See my photos. My wife got the Cod Basket ($18) which had 4 pieces of cod fingers , not fillets. She was expecting fillets like Long John Silver's. Included was coleslaw, cilantro aioli sauce and a mountain of fries. She liked the Cod but not as much as LJ Silver's. The slaw was good but she found the sauce spicy. Our server was sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable about menu items. We ordered two apps on top of our entrees and all the food was delicious. They make their dressings from scratch, and I couldn’t get enough of the Parmesan ranch dressing. She even brought me a cup to take home! Portion sizes were generous but compatible with pricing. Looking forward to returning when we are in the area again.

Our hostess and waiter had top notch service and were delightful! The atmosphere was good for sports fans. The temp was quite cold so a sweatshirt is a good idea for those who get cold easily but it was clean and comfy - and relaxed. The duck glaze was good and the chicken plate was good but the 48.00 NY strip was a huge disappointment. I ordered medium and hot medium well to well (which really ruins a steak). That was a pretty big disappointment considering how expensive the plate was.

The food was phenomenal and our server was super nice. We had the fried green tomatoes for a started and they were cooked perfect. Not too heavy on the batter and so juicy. I had the duck in the blueberry reduction and it was perfectly balanced. And my husband loved his catfish, it was so light and flavorful.

I was surprised to find such a high quality seafood restaurant off the interstate at Zion Crossroads, VA. Even the number of cars & trucks parked everywhere outside was sort of crazy. Our waitress was wonderful and quickly took our order. Choosing to split our meal, we started with their Signature She Crab Soup which was VERY good! Then an equally delicious crab cake (2) entree with remoulade sauce, seasoned green beans and rice pilaf. We agreed our meal was delicious and very enjoyable. And to top it off - Key West Key Lime pie with raspberry coulis. It's no wonder Rhett's was packed out, their food is top-notch.
