Delicious Guatemalan food in Albany! The restaurant is bright and clean, the service is friendly, and the food is great. Especially the pollo en pipian. They have some grocery items for sale, too.
I've never dined in, but I kept seeing the restaurant every time I scrolled on the DoorDash app. One day, I decided to be adventurous and order from here, and I'm so glad I did! The food is delicious and authentic. It always arrives nice and warm and well-packaged. Ive tried their Desayuno, dobladas, pupusas, tamales, carne asada everything was so good.
The tv plays kids cartoons and the small but varied merchandise beckons while you wait for your food. Informal tables dot the dining room/store. My tacos were yummy and clearly made with attention and love. They had shredded stewed beef with a cabbage slaw and charred onions. Homemade tortillas!!! Prices are super reasonable.
Delicioso! I'm so glad this little place opened near me. My first meal was a shrimp quesadilla and I am excited to try the other dishes. Staff was nice and there are some grocery items for sale too. Gracias to my new neighbors!
Best Guatemalan food in Albany NY. The Pepian is so good. They also have Latino bread.
